Living in a private Home How can you get to know a country better than having personal contact with the people living there? If you love to explore and do not wish to be limited by the usual tour guides, staying in a private home, is the solution for you. Casa Irene Casa Irene is located only three minutes from the center of Parque Marti.  It is one of the most beautiful historical centers of Cuba. The house offers guests four air-conditioned rooms with private bath, refrigerator, TV, safe-box, voltage 110 and 220. Delicious local meals are offered and prepared by the lady of the house by request. Livingroom and the patio can be used. Our prices are very reasonable, especially for European guests. Accommodation and Meal costs Prices are in € Room per night 1- 3 persons   30.-- Breakfast 10.-- Dinner      (prices not yet fixed) Each dish comes with a starter, main-dish with garnish and a dessert, if available at the local market. Drinks according to the price list (for example the good cuban beer € 3.--). Cienfuegos The pearl of the south is what the Cubans call the city of Cienfuegos, which lies in the central part of Cuba  along a beautiful bay. The city was founded by  Frenchmen at the beginning of the 19th century. The family name of Irene is Bonneval. One of the Fremchmen called Jean Bonneval was only 22 when he arrived 1819 with his ship Adeline from Bordeaux, France. Still today there is a quarter in Cienfuegos named after him. Nearby Casa Irene you will find a traffic free shopping strip, and it is still lovingly called boulevard. Excursions Casa Irene’s location is perfect for daily excursions. As you will be staying with Irene and Gerardo they will be more than happy to help you find activities in Cienfuegos or around it, which will suit your interests. Entertainment and sports There are many options of your entertainment, amongst them the famous Theatre Thomas Terry, concerts, discos for the evening. Swimming and diving at the Rancho Luna-beach for your daily activities.
